First East Terrebonne flights

Terrebonne wetlands from the AirSWOT plane
Today AirSWOT and UAVSAR performed their first of East Terrebonne flights to capture the receding tide.
- UAVSAR had a very long flight collecting 16 lines over 6.1 hours. The two quicklook images (“eterre_*”) were produced by UAVSAR’s fabulous operator, Tim Miller!
- AirSWOT also had a productive flight collecting 21 lines. Jack Bush had time to take a stunning picture of what remains of the Terrebonne wetlands.
- Both instruments had small computer glitches at the very beginning that were quickly resolved.

Today, the Water Quality Team made a trip across Lake Decade to collect a few water stations.
Delta-X held a press conference this morning with short presentations by Hank Margolis, Cathleen Jones, Robert Twilley and Marc Simard, followed by Q & A. There was a second one-on-one AP interview with Marc Simard in the afternoon.
